The Lost Crops Festival is an initiative dedicated to rediscovering and promoting the forgotten agricultural treasures of Africa. Our commitment stems from the desire to shed light on forgotten grains and their potential both in terms of food and commerce.
Under the enlightened leadership of Dr. Mariam Aidara, President and Founder of the Joliba Institute, and the renowned chef and founder of Yolélé, Pierre Thiam, the Lost Crops Festival is taking shape to offer a unique and enriching experience.
As part of our preparation for this crucial event, we are organizing a Preparatory Workshop that will take place on June 26, 2024, at the Azalaï Hotel. This meeting holds paramount importance in our efforts to shape the content and logistical aspects of the Lost Crops Festival.
The main objective of this meeting is to collaborate in building a robust and dynamic program that will captivate our target audience and appropriately showcase these valuable agricultural resources. During this workshop, we will discuss the Festival document, which we must enrich and strengthen to ensure the event’s success.
The in-person audience to this event is invitation only.
